Trigger Point Needling - Balance Chiropractic & Rehab

Trigger Point Needling, North Dakota

What is trigged point needling?

“Trigger point Needling is a treatment we use at Balance Chiropractic & Rehab for muscular tightness and spasm which commonly follow injuries and often accompanies the degenerative processes of a chronically painful condition and dysfunction.

How does it work? Trigger Point Needling  uses a small filament needle, an acupuncture needle, which is inserted  in  a contracted painful muscle causing the muscle to twitch. This twitch reflex is both diagnostic and therapeutic as it is the first step  in breaking the pain cycle. Research shows trigger point needling decreases muscle, contraction, reduces chemical irritation, improves flexibility and decreases pain.
